Sinem In The House

Indeed if you want sometime alone 'to stand and stare', this is the place to go. A few days of being cocooned in the silence of the deep woods, breezy shadows of tall trees, away from the hustle and bustle of life in the comfort of your hotel room. The nature is pure and unspoiled, woods untouched, squirrels free to roam to their little hearts' content amongst the humans.

This photograph is from our honeymoon in Whinfell Forest, Cumbria, CentreParcs. This outstanding work of architecture houses the main village area, shops, restaurants and indoor swimming pool. We were lucky to have been situated in the strategically located Lakeside Apartments, equidistant to the swimming pool and the spa - two main attractions for me. We also had the opportunity to go on a few walks in the woodland, taking photographs and generally not worrying about the passing of the time.
