Good to have some variety!
I like the subject and toning - reminds me of the old west (sometime between the stage coach and the Model A) - also brings back memories of my time living in Lancaster Pennsylvania where there is a large Amish population.
Something about the way the carriage slants up towards the center of the photo kind of gives me some unease. May be because I'm not crazy bout the way the near pole (horse support?) instersects with the roof. One way to fix that would have been to move your body slightly right so the angle would have made the poles clean against the sky and not intersecting with roof.
Don't mean to be too critical - overall it's a good shot and tells a nice story about this area.
Nice to see your pictures on aminus Suby ! I have no more niternet at home for the moment so cannot see aminus pictures avery day.
I enjoyed your personnal photoblog and am very happy to see you in our ! Your images are very good, I have never found a default!
Aboutthis picture, I find it perfect. The carriage drives my eye to the landscape which looks very impressive. The toning and light gives the picture an aspect of old picture. I like it !
reminds me of old photographs. Nice bit of post processing with deliberate film grain added to it. Yes if possible i wud compose this pic such the carriage is to the extreme right with those slants seperating from the roof, in agreement with jason's comment.
