Looking back, Looking forward

Suby In The House.

I love capturing wedding shots. To me the ability for me to capture the joyous moments of someone most happiest day is a previledge and I always aim to capture those unique moments from weddings.

Here is a shot of the bride, maybe looking back at the life she is leaving behind, and looking forward to the life she is about to embark on.

The interpretation is down to the veiwer. What do you say?

Great shot and analysis. To me she has a kind of confident knowing smile as well like - "helly yeah - lets do this!"

I like the way that you have brought the viewer into this moment - like an intimate exchange with the bride to be.

@Jason Kravitz: Yep that was it, she was in such a hurry to go marry her man :) Thats one of the things I always try to capture with my images, a connection, a captured moment in time.
